The QTVR opens looking South (across the larger reflecting pool) toward the NYS Cultural Education Center (housing the New York State Museum, Library, and State Archives & Records Administration ) to the right are four (shorter) office towers. At the near end of the reflecting pool is a George Rickey kinetic sculputure Two Lines Oblique. Looking North, across the smaller reflecting pool, is the NYS Capitol building, flanked by two legislative office buildings. To the East, is the Egg, home to the NYS Center for the Performing Arts, and to the righ t of that is the Corning Office Tower on the plaza.
